:DDD We had it somewhere around Lavender/Beach Road. Not the best place to go but well it wasn’t too bad. The total bill went up to about $228 for 20 people. Basically the food came all on one plate, like beef, fish, pig’s liver, cockles, vegetables, fishballs, fish maw etc. And one egg. All thrown onto one plate. So we ordered 3 plates per table and one chicken to share between 2 tables. Quite nice :D Oh we were served bowls of chicken rice instead of white rice.
Okay so we met at about 5.30 pm and waited for people until about 5.50 pm, then we got there around 6 pm and ordered food, and we finished dinner around 7. So we sat there and talked nonsense when Zi Liang walked in HAHAHAHAHAH. No more food for him aww :(
Okay anyway right we were talking rubbish as usual and came up with these conclusions:
1. Daniel looks very like a cat
2. Connie looks a bit like a cat
3. Shu Fen looks like Bobdog :D Or the cartoon dog that was on Sarah’s shirt. It was called Freddy.
4. Wei Ming looks like a rottweiler/guard dog
5. You Hao looks like Tarzan’s gorilla friend in his younger days
6. Jing Wei looks like a gorilla
7. Bernice looks like a rabbit/hamster
8. Swee Chen looks like Nemo (HAHAHAHAHAHA)

We left shortly after and headed down to Bugis to eat Ritz Apple Strudel :D :D :D Darn nice!! We joined about 5 tables together and the auntie saw that we had so many people so she tried making us get 2 big ones but they managed to convince her that one big apple strudel and one small strawberry strudel would be enough.
We ate and talked about STJ while some headed to the arcade in Bugis Junction. Decided on some stuffs and left around 10. So Jocelyn and I gave You Hao a call and he appeared from the arcade and we took bus home together.
He was standing on the steps by the door on the bus and Jocelyn threatened to push him down the bus when the door opened LOL. It’s more likely that she flies off when he 闪开…
Reached home pretty quickly at about 10.50 pm. Then I packed and went to sleep. The end. :)

Oh right yesterday night I had this strange dream about Jonathan and I (don’t ask me why it’s him) going to Swee Chen’s house for goodness knows what reason. It was supposed to be a HDB flat but I swear that flat was the biggest flat I’ve ever seen okay it was more like a single-floored bungalow. And Swee Chen had 7 other siblings and she was very happy with them. I have no idea what we were doing in that house.
Yesterday was Campfire Night for the J1s which marks the end of their orientation. Shu Fen, Crystal and I (and a couple more other people) went to Plaza Singapura to do CIP which mainly comprised sticking the Moove badges on this huge sheet to form a montage. Quite pretty :D Went for dinner after that, then headed back to school for campfire. We stayed in the hall to watch the faculty dances/performances but we missed the Apollo one!!! :( :( :( By a few minutes because Apollo was the first to perform. Sad.
Halfway through Athena’s performance (which was the last) we ran up to the third floor to get a good view of the central plaza. A while later, during the So part of SoDaChe, Swee Chen ran up and told us to go down to join Jonathan and Bernice and 10S7E :) :) So we ran all the way down and took about 10 minutes to locate them in the 茫茫人海. Totally reliving our orientation days manzsxz! Felt so nostalgic then. I hope the J1s treasure their orientation!
Okay this is not the 重点. The 重点 is after campfire, Crystal, Juliana, Swee Chen, Jonathan, Daniel and I wanted to go somewhere to grab a bite/get a drink. We gathered KAP and Serene and wherever else would be packed so we decided to just stroll to 7-11 to get drinks. After that we parked ourselves on the floor outside 7-11 to slack and everything. A few minutes later I got an SMS from Ms Ong which said,
“Don’t squat outside 7 11. Doesn’t look good.”
Everyone got a shock at started looking around for Ms Ong HAHA.
Then stupid Daniel replied “Dun stalk us la”
She said “Erm it really doesn’t reflect well on hci people.”
We were still trying to locate her and speculated that she might be at the Old Brown Shoe (next to 7-11) but we couldn’t see her. Or that she drove past. Or took a cab since it’s quite hard to SMS while driving.
We decided to leave anyway and while walking back to school (to sit at the bus stop to eat, as suggested by Swee), the guys looked at Old Brown Show and well guess what Ms Ong was there HAHAHAHAHAHA. With a few other people. She saw us and came down to talk to us for a bit/ask us why we were there/if we were at campfire etc. And I had to tell her that Daniel sent the SMS because she said I said she stalks us!!
Quite funny haha.
Okay then we walked back to the college bus stop and went home. Lala.

Today when I was washing my face THE PENGUIN FELL OFF MY EARRING INTO THE DEEP DARK ABYSS OF THE SINK T_T Actually I kinda threw it in because I felt something on my hand and proceeded to wash it off but because my eyes were closed I couldn’t see it but it felt funny because something on my ear went missing. So after it fell in my brain finally processed that it was my earring T.T I am sad.
And the part between my finger and the side of the nail got infected. I have no idea why but there’s freaking pus under the skin and when I squeeze it, it comes out the front from under the nail -.- -.- Disgusting!!! There’s still pus and I can’t get it out. Yucks la. You can see this whitish-yellowish patch of thing under the skin at the side of the nail and it is just gross.
I need to stop injuring my fingers before my piano exam pleh!!!!

Title is self-explanatory. The poor little bugger was inside one of the pods of my salted soy beans, which was kept in the freezer for quite a while and put into the oven to be heated up before I ate it. No wonder it tasted funny when I bit the pod to get the beans out. But let’s not go into details because this isn’t something that worth remembering.
Well obviously I immediately located the mouthwash and gave my mouth a good rinse -.- disgusting.
Lessons learnt:
1. Always open the pod before eating the beans.
2. Don’t buy the salted soy beans by FairPrice. They have worms.

Oh yeah hwa chong’s hosting the International Science Youth Forum this year and they held a video conference with Nobel Laureate Professor Lee Hartwell. Quite a number of people from high school and college were picked to attend the conference and Sarah Chua and I were one of the few but we were a few minutes late /: oopsie
Quite an interesting experience though! Never dreamt that I’d ever get to do this kinda thing hahah.

Oh yeah now I get to hitch a ride to school from my dad because he sends my bro to school and my brother goes to the same school as me :D but my bro wakes up late and so my dad leaves the house late and I reach school at like 7.15am I cannot stand it! I need to be there about half an hour earlier but no one cares about me :( maybe I’ll revert back to taking the bus. Meh.
Okay this is just a filler post. More will come when I motivate myself to switch on the laptop hehe.
Oh yeah I must add that Shu Fen was being a total retard today saying that we were also in SMTP classes but a different league altogether because the S and M stand for stupid moron -.- she can go be one herself la haiyo.
Oh and stupid things happened during second break. Leonard was sitting next to me eating. He found tomato in his food but didn’t want to eat it so he put it in Zheng Hang’s (who was opposite him) plate. Then Jonathan, who was next to Leonard, saw the tomato and scooped it right out of Zheng Hang’s plate LOLOL
Shu Fen and I were staring at them la zomg darn hilarious. She couldn’t stop laughing today and was super extremely restless the whole day, dunno why. Then she influenced me -.-
Tomorrow will be a better day! I hope I won’t get lost in the SMTP (the proper one, not Shu Fen’s defintion) bio lecture.

The year’s coming to an end (yet again). This year, I’ve come to realize that
1. I (so) have not been taking piano seriously for the past 9/10 years;
2. I still don’t know what I want;
3. I’ve been relying on people around me to motivate me to get things done;
4. life is so not a bed of roses because not everyone does what you want them to do;
5. I might not have a best friend after all (not in a bad way);
6. I haven’t been working out/exercising much;
7. I really, honestly suck at humanities subjects;
8. my default face scares people so much that my juniors don’t dare to say hi to me when they see me during CSM;
9. I don’t study very much;
10. I need to save money;
11. I need to watch what I say and count to 20 before I speak;
12. I need to be much more tolerant than I think I am;
13. school’s pretty fun;
14. notes are extremely expensive;
15. Ms Ong thinks I’m an efficient treasurer (the class probably hates me though); and
16. some people aren’t what they seem and not everyone thinks you’re as important/special to them as you think they are to you.
Okay 17 since I’m 17: people change. A lot or a little, you really can’t predict. But sometimes the change is scary, and the worst part is you can’t do anything about it.
Yup that’s about it. I really think I haven’t been studying very hard this year and the year flew by really really quickly. No time to slack so much next year! Before you know it, it’ll be time to sit for A’s. Really not funny. Buck up!! Start by studying for the stupid lecture tests that we’ll be getting next year T.T
2009 hasn’t been too bad actually. I made 2 new good friends :D Friends are important. They make school less boring (right Shu Fen HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA) …though they may be bad influence as well ;P (right SF?)

Zoooooo…well we haven’t been seeing each other that much right. Sad, guess we’re all too busy with our own schedules and such. But at least we get to talk once in a while! Maybe after our exams next year we’ll be able to find time to catch up with one another. Maybe it wasn’t that bad with Liu Yi. Though she’s been super busy with MAD and mugging history. But I think we’re most updated on one another’s matters (although not as much as last year probably…). Oh well. Least you’re there for me yeah! :) Thank you too!

回家真好。I nearly died on the way up to/down from Cameron Highlands. And the water in the KL hotel was yellowish. Don’t trust food from the night markets! Quite a few people in the tour group puked/had diarrhea after eating their 龟苓膏 :S Including me T.T I slept from 10pm ytd night until 11am this morning.

We basically got ourselves a table and sat down to play board/card games etc. We kept switching and switching after finishing a game haha. Didn’t talk much; it was more of laughing like a couple of idiots there HAHA. Some J2s were there too! Cai Tong says her senior asked if she wanted her notes HAHA quite funny.
After playing Telepaths, I declare that Qiao Yan thinks the pretty differently from the 3 of us.
Ugly Doll (?) is a retarded game. It was supposed to be violent because Qiao wanted a violent game (HAHA) but it turned out to be funny instead. We had a pile of cards spread out face down on the table and we’d take turns to open one card each. When there’re 3 of the same kind facing up we’re supposed to try and grab all 3 cards. So instead of grabbing/snatching cards it became more of trying to 谈判 and convince the other person/people to hand over the cards HAHAHAHAHA.
…’cept with me because they all say I have the violent/gangster image so don’t need to 谈判, just give (wts). My image is ruined T.T

I think this year passed by pretty quickly. Orientation felt like yesterday. Next year’s gonna be worse @_@ We’ll fly from 11 Jan to Block Tests I, then fly to June Holidays which will not be holidays at all, then fly to Block Tests II, then fly to prelims, then fly to A Levels!!!!! Omaigod I need to mentally (and physically) prepare myself before the year begins.
The Math December Revision Package is absolutely horrendous, I gave up on it -.- And econs!! Nobody in my group has communicated with one another about our group assignment yet gosh. I can’t find an article for the individual assignment ugh. And Issues and Ideas Vol. 2 is nonsense. Everything is about politics wts. What on earth would we know about democracy and the like?
